Antalyaspor appoint Yusuf Şimşek as their new manager
[divider]Antalyaspor have appointed Yusuf Şimşek as their new manager.
Yusuf Şimşek resigned as manager of Karşıyaka earlier this week. The Izmir based club accepted Yusuf’s resignation. Yusuf departed from the club after recording just one win in their last five games.
Last weekend’s 1-0 defeat away to Şanlıurfaspor was Yusuf’s final game in charge.
Yusuf has replaced Hami Mandirali as manager of Antalyaspor. The PTT 1. Lig side sacked Mandirali after back to back losses in the league.

The Scorpions are currently in 4th place, 13 points behind league leaders Kayserispor.
Yusuf has previously managed Turgutluspor and Denizlispor. The young manager won 17, lost 13 and drew 9 of the 39 league games he was in charge of.
Antalyaspor were relegated from the Süper Lig last season and are targeting a return to top-flight football next season.
The Scorpions will guarantee promotion if they finish the season inside the top two.
Antalyaspor will have to go through the playoff route if they finish in the top 6.
