Besiktas are reported to have more chance of signing Fellaini than Inter, AC Milan and PSG.
The powerful midfielder wants assurances of a first team role on a long term move.
Fellaini has four goals and one assist in 12 games for United this season.
Despite Jose Mourinho coming out and publicly backing Fellaini the midfielder rejected United’s attempt to offer a contract extension.
The Istanbul giants are in pursuit of a potential replacement for Atiba Hutchinson who is reaching the end of his career at the age of 35.
Besiktas have booked a place in the Champions League Last 16 but would only be able to draw United if they fail to finish the group as leaders.
The Black Eagles have already secured a first place finish in Group G with a game to go – an unprecedented achievement for a Super Lig side.
