Arsenal transfer news: Lionel Messi doesn’t want £42m Germany international at Barcelona
Arsenal star playmaker Mesut Ozil’s proposed move to Barcelona may of hit a major stumbling block.
In news which will be welcomed by Gunners fans, Barca legend Lionel Messi has objected to speculation linking Ozil with a move to the La Liga giants.
Spanish outlet Diario Gol claim Messi had talks with Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde as soon as he read reports of Ozil’s move to Barca.

Per the source, the Argentina international has doubts regarding Ozil’s attitude and commitment.
To make matters more difficult of Ozil, he previously played for Barcelona’s biter rivals Real Madrid.
Ozil’s future at Arsenal is still cast in doubt. The 29-year-old has under seven months left on his contract with the Gunners and is yet to pen a new deal.
Arsena could end up losing their star man for free next summer unless they can tie Ozil down to a new deal, or sell him in January.
