‘The truth is the opposite of what Wenger says’ – Arsenal fans react to head coach claims that Ozil & Sanchez will stay
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger put an end to the rumours that Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez will be leaving at the end of the season.
Well almost.
Wenger revealed that he expects both players to remain at Arsenal until the end of the season.
The Arsenal boss said: “As long as they are here, they give their best for the club.
“In my head, they stay until the end of the season. Unless something unbelievable happens I don’t see that changing.”
When asekd if they will remain beyond the end of the season, he added: “I am not the only one to decide that. They have to decide that as well.”

I guess that settles the argument then. It appears both Ozil and Sanchez are staying, will the media stop talking about them leaving? I seriously doubt it!
So Wenger has clearly stated he expects Ozil and Sanchez to stay past January. Hopefully now he will not have any further questions on this subject and commentators won’t mention how they are leaving every time they are on the ball ?

Actions speak louder than words!
Only one way to stop the questions, sign them on a contract. He faces the questions whilst there is doubt, unfortunately managers don’t always tell the truth

Not everyone believed what Wenger had to say.

He never tells the truth. If they stay, they’ll leave for Sweet F.A in the summer..

They may stay in January but can Wenger keep them on past the summer?

Good point?
How much can we get from selling Ozil and Sanchez in January? Maybe, 50m in my opinion if we are lucky. How much does getting into the Champions League worth? My guess about the same amount. My take, no sale..

Letting Ozil and Sanchez go on the free only pays dividends if #Arsenal get into the Champions League next season. If they don’t, it’s possibly the most amateurish piece of business conducted in football history.

If Ozil leaves, in 10 years time we will be saying “we have had 10 years and never replaced Ozil”
