West Brom transfer news: Pardew pulls plug on Brazil international transfer
Newly appointed West Bromwich Albion manager Alan Pardew has already made changes to his new side’s transfer policy.
The Baggies were closely linked with a move for Fenerbahce star midfielder Josef de Souza.
West Brom had a bid for the Brazil international accepted during the summer transfer window however, the player was unable to attain a work permit.
According to the daily Turkish newspaper Fanatik, Pardew has instructed his club not to sign the Fenerbahce midfielder in January.

Per the source, Pardew is happy with Gareth Barry, Jake Livermore, Gregorz Krychoiwak and Claudio Jacob as his midfield options for the remainder of the season.
West Brom were held to a 0-0 draw by Crystal Palace on Saturday and take on fellow relegation battlers Swansea City this weekend.
Fenerbahce meanwhile take on an in-form Bursaspor in the Turkish Super Lig. The Yellow Canaries have registered three wins in a row and find themselves in third place.
