Man United vs Man City: Probable Lineups – Jose Mourinho missing £89m record signing
Man City will be looking to return to winning ways when they take on their biter rivals Manchester United today.
The clash takes place at Old Trafford while kick-off is scheduled for 16:30 (GMT).
The Citizens suffered their first defeat of the season during the week in the UEFA Champions League. Pep Guardiola’s side were defeated by a 2-1 scoreline by Ukrainian giants Shakhtar Donetsk.
Germany international Ilkay Gundogan started during the week but is expected to begin the Manchester derby on the bench.
Man United meanwhile will be hoping to reduce the point gap between themselves and Man City down to eight points. A defeat will see them slip 11 points behind the league leaders.
Jose Mourinho will be unable to call upon his star midfielder Paul Pogba after he picked up a red card against Arsenal. The France international joined for a club record £89 million last year.
