Jack Wilshere refuses to sign new Arsenal deal as Super Lig giants line up January bid

Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere is refusing to sign a contract extension with the North London based outfit according to Turkish sports newspaper Fotomac.

Per the source, Wilshere wants assurances of first team football otherwise he will consider his option.

Fenerbahce are among the sides interested in signing the England international.

The Yellow Canaries are willing to make a bid in January to prize Wilshere away from the Emirates.

The Istanbul giants have made Wilshere a transfer priority as they continue their pursuit for a creative attacking minded midfielder.

Fenerbahce would be able to offer Wilshere a first team role on a lucrative deal if he were to consider moving to Turkey.

Wilshere has under 12 months remaining on his current contract.

Fenerbahce would be able to enter direct talks with the 25-year-old in January even if the Gunners reject an offer over the winter transfer window.

The Canaries could end up signing Wilshere as a free agent at the end of the season if the Gunners do not reach an agreement over his contract situation.

Fenerbahce are currently third in the Super Lig just three points behind league leaders Galatasaray.
