Man City reveal squad to face Swansea City, Pep receives boost as star defender is included

Manchester City have revealed their 19 man squad which will travel to Wales to take on Swansea City in the Premeir League this week.

The clash takes place at the Liberty stadium on Wednesday night, kick-off is scheduled for 19:45 (GMT).

Belgium international Vincent Kompany has been included in the squad despite being taken off after 45 minutes against Manchester United.

Star playmaker Ilkay Gundogan is also in, the 26-year-old played a key role during City’s 2-1 victory over their biter rivals.

Pep Guardiola has also made room for the young attacking midfielder Oleksandr Zinchenko.

Meanwhile, John Stones has once again been left out of the squad. The England international is still recovering from a hamstring injury he picked up last month.
