West Brom transfer news: Brazil international speaks to press about Baggies interest
Brazil international midfielder Josef de Souza has spoken to the Turkish media about reports linking him with a move to West Brom.
The Birmingham based club came close to signing De Souza over the summer transfer window, however, the deal broke down after the Brazilian failed to attain a work permit.
De Souza has revealed that he is yet to receive a formal offer from West Brom since the summer but left the door open for future offers.
Rather than commit his future to Fenerbahce, the 28-year-old simply stated that interested parties will need to hold talks with the club as well.

“My agent told me that I haven’t received a formal offer from West Brom yet,” Souza told Turkish outlet CNN Turk when quizzed about a bid from West Brom:
“My agent is dealing with transfer business and if there’s a serious offer for me then we’ll look into it but they also have to speak with my club as well.”
West Brom suffered a 2-1 defeat at the hands of Manchester United on Sunday and take on fellow relegation battlers Stoke City this weekend.
Fenerbahce meanwhile take on Konyaspor in the Turkish Super Lig this weekend. The Yellow Canaries have registered five wins in a row and find themselves in second place.
