Emre Can to Man United: Liverpool still in talks with star midfielder contract, Red Devils preparing shock move
Liverpool have not given up hopes of extending their star midfielder Emre Can’s contract.
The news comes amid reports linking the Germany international with a summer move to rivals Manchester United.
According to Sky Germany, Can is still in talks with Liverpool over a new deal. The 23-year-old’s contract expires at the end of the season meaning he could end up leaving the club for free.

Per the source, Juventus have decided that they will not attempt to sign Can in January.
Meanwhile, Corriere dello Sport state that Man United are set to join the race for Can. Unlike Juve, the Red Devils are unable to hold contract-talks with Can until the end of the season.
Can could be back in action tomorrow when Liverpool host their Merseyside rivals Everton at Anfield in the FA Cup.
