Man Utd in pole position to sign £35m Arsenal ace – Juventus plot to hijack deal
Arsenal star playmaker Mesut Ozil’s future at the north London based club is cast in doubt following reports linking him with a move to Manchester United.
According to the Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo, Man United are in pole position to sign the 29-year-old however, Juventus are ready to hijack the deal.
Per the source, Juve are interested in signing Ozil this month if it means they can beat the Red Devils in the race to land the Germany international.
Ozil could be on his way out of Arsenal after failing to pen a new contract. The former Real Madrid star has under six-months left on his contract with the Gunners and is free to hold talks with European clubs.
Meanwhile, The Mirror states that Manchester United are preparing to table a £35 million offer to sign Ozil from Arsenal this month.

However, Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger recently claimed Ozil wanted to stay at the club.
“I believe he wants to stay, he is not to be convinced [to sign a new contract],” said Wenger.
“You want nobody to leave and you see where we stand on that. But at the moment, it’s very difficult.
“Until the end of the season we know what it is, but after that, I cannot tell you.”
