Jurgen Klopp Reveals How Liverpool Star Duo Battled Through Illness To Help Beat Man City
Liverpool became the first team to beat Manchester City in the Premier League this season after a thrilling encounter at Anfield Stadium.

Emre Can and Mohamed Salah both started for Liverpool putting on stellar displays.
Salah scored the Reds fourth goal from almost 40 yards.
Can meanwhile was outstanding in the centre of Liverpool’s midfield before being substituted off for James Milner with just over 10 minutes left.

Klopp revealed after the game: “Emre and Mo were on their way to being ill (before the game) and obviously with Emre it was a little more difficult. Half-time was already difficult but we didn’t have a lot of options, so he tried everything.”
Can has four goals and three asissts in all competitions for Liverpool this season.
The dedication shown by Can will probably please Reds fans worried that the midfielder will be leaving.
The midfielder will be a free agent at the end of the season unless a contract extension is signed.
The victory moved the Reds into third place closing the gap with league leaders City to 15 points.
City have not won at Anfield for 15 years now and their lead at the top of the table could be cut to 12 points if second placed Manchester United win today.
Liverpool take on Swansea City next in the Premier League on Monday 22 January.
