“I am talking with Liverpool” – Germany international reveals contract talks on-going with Reds
Liverpool star midfielder Emre Can has revealed that he may yet put pen-to-paper on a new contract with the Merseyside based club.
Can has been linked with a move away from Liverpool after entering the final five months of this contract. The 23-year-old is currently free to discuss terms with European sides and could end up leaving Liverpool for free this summer.
During the contract stand-off, Can has been heavily linked with a move to Serie A champions Juventus. However, the combative midfielder has stated that no agreement in place and that he will remain a Liverpool player until the summer at least.

“My agent is looking after everything but I am here until the summer,” Can told the Liverpool Echo.
“I haven’t signed anything (with Juventus) or anyone. I am talking with everyone.
“Of course I am talking with Liverpool. I still have a contract here. It is an amazing club. What can I say? My agent does the rest.
“I just concentrate on the season, on my performance and the football. I will give everything for this team.”
Can played a key role for Liverpool during their victory over Manchester City on Sunday. Jurgen Klopp’s side recorded a 4-3 win and inflicted Man City with their first defeat of the season.
