Besiktas haven’t given up hopes of signing Arsenal star striker and England international Danny Welbeck.
The Black Eagles are on the lookout for a new striker following the departure of Cenk Tosun. The prolific striker made his debut for his new side on Saturday against Tottenham but was unable to find the back of the net.

Sporx recently revealed that Arsenal turned down Besiktas’ approach for Welbeck amid the Alexis Sanchez to Man United transfer saga. However, Besiktas have not given up their pursuit of the Gunners striker.
According to Fotospor, Besiktas are set to table an improved offer for Welbeck after failing to agree a deal for Leicester City’s Islam Slimani and Man United’s Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Welbeck has provided one assist and scored five goals in 22 appearances for Arsenal this season. The 27-year-old could be back in action for Arsenal when they take on Crystal Palace in the Premier League this weekend.
