Premier League side Stoke City have been linked with a move for Fenerbahce’s star midfielder Josef de Souza.
The Brazil international came close to a move to West Brom over the summer transfer window, however, the deal fell through after De Souza failed to attain a work permit.
According to the daily Turkish paper Takvim, Stoke City have tabled a €10m bid to sign Souza. Per the source the Potters offer falls below Fenerbahce’s asking price.
Furthermore, Takvim states that Fenerbahce boss Aykut Kocaman does not want to lose any key names during the January transfer window.
Fenerbahce are unlikely to sell De Souza unless an improved offer is tabled.
