Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted that his star forward Alexis Sanchez is likely to join Premier League rivals Manchester United.
The Chile international has been closely linked with a move away from the Emirates after failing to pen a new contract.
Mesut Ozil has also entered the final six months of his contract, however, according to The Sun, the Germany international is close to penning an extension with Arsenal.
Wenger went on to state that Henrikh Mkhitaryan could join Arsenal as part of the deal which sees Sanchez join United.
“I worked on transfers for 30 years so it is likely to happen, but at any moment it can break down,” Wenger was quoted as saying by the BBC.
“I like the player [Mkhitaryan],” added Wenger. “We played many times against him when he was at Dortmund. He appreciated the quality of our games. The wages would not be a problem.”
Ozil could be back in action for Arsenal this weekend when they take on their London rivals Chelsea in the Premier League this weekend. The Germany international missed the Gunners defeat at the hands of Bournemouth last weekend.
