Everton were held to a 1-1 draw at Goodison Park in the Premier League on Saturday.
The Toffees had to come from behind to rescue a point against the relegation battlers.
Turkey international Cenk Tosun started his first game at Goodison Park since making the move from Besiktas.
Tosun was unable to get his name on the scoresheet or provide an assist.
We took a look at how Everton fans reacted on social media to Tosun’s display.

Tosun failed to make much of an impact but to be fair he was left fairly isolated again.
He is going to need some time to settle in with his new teammates but he’ll need a goal pretty fast to prove his doubters wrong.
He’s only played two games but already feel sorry for Cenk Tosun.
He moved, tries to make things happen, clearly has a brain but there is nothing around him.
That lack of movement is contagious. They have to start playing and running as a team. It’s basic. #EFC

Everton fans appear to be quite sympathetic to the lack of support Tosun has been receiving.

Yes thanks, Cenk is a striker we have craved from the start of the season. But if fat head does not play him to his strengths then he won’t get the best out of him, the club bought him to score goals not run around like a dickhead for nothing.

Cenk Tosun hasn’t touched the ball in 10 minutes and we’re chasing the game at home against West Brom.
I despise this Everton.

There was sounds of booing when Tosun was taken off but it turns out the fans did not turn their back on him, instead they were protesting the decision.
For the record – the Everton fans did not boo @CenkTosun_ when he was taken off…
They booed because we DIDN’T want him taken off – we wanted him to carry on attacking as we were 0-1 down!!#EFC #COYB #Everton

Yer he wasn’t being boo’ed, the booing was aimed at Sam Allardyce taking him off. Should have put Niasse on as well as Tosun. Playing that defensively at home is ridiculous!

Another Sandro? Hopefully not!
Horrible for James! Coleman went straight down! Theo looks great buy! Tosun ? hope I am wrong but looks like another Sandro! Couldn’t score in a Bangkok brothel.
