Tottenham Loanee Misses Out Again As Fenerbahce Win 5 Of Last 6 Games Since Injury

Fenerbahce beat Goztepe 2-1 at the Sukru Saracoglu Stadium on Sunday to close the gap with Super Lig leaders to three points.

The Yellow Canaries have now won 10 of their last 11 games in all competitions.

Tottenham loanee Vincent Janssen was not included in the team again as he has yet to return from injury.

Janssen has now missed the Istanbul giants last six games in all competitions.

Fenerbahce have won five of their last six matches since the Dutch star picked up his injury.

Janssen has three goals and four assists for the Canaries this season.

The 23-year-old is expected to return to training this week but it would be a surprise to see him back in the starting line-up against rivals Trabzonspor next Sunday.

Head coach Aykut Kocaman will be hoping Janssen does recover in time as he is facing a striker crisis.

Roberto Soldado has been misfiring, Robin van Persie parted ways with the club last week and Giuliano has also been injured.

Luckily for Kocaman, Fernandao was drafted in against Goztepe and scored the opening goal.

The Brazilian could keep his place in the side upfront next week.
