Mesut Ozil started his first League Cup game since joining Arsenal yesterday in the London derby at the Emirates against Chelsea.
The 29-year-old put on quite a show as the Gunners emerged 2-1 victory, progressing to the final in the process.

The playmaker of Turkish origin could easily have added to his assist tally on the night had Alex Iwobi not squandered this chance.

Arsenal will need to hurry and get Ozil to sign a new deal if they want to keep him on beyond the end of the season.
The 2014 World Cup winner will be a free agent this summer unless he signs a contract extension.
