Everton signing Cenk Tosun wished his mother a happy birthday on Instagram today.
Tosun posed with his mum in front of an Everton sign and wrote a heartfelt birthday message about just how much he loves her.
The choice of photograph was interesting. It appears his mother has been in Liverpool – or perhaps still is.
Tosun has settled in well to life in England, he speaks the language and is used to living in different countries already so he knew what to expect.
The one thing he was concerned about was not being able to find the Turkish olives he adores.
Former Liverpool midfielder Nuri Sahin came to the rescue and revealed where he can get hold of the olives he wants.
Well with olive gate solved it seems Tosun can finally really settle in. Considering his mother is or has been in Liverpool he probably got to sample some of mama’s cooking as well.
