Liverpool crashed out of the FA Cup fourth-round yesterday after losing 3-2 against West Brom at Anfield.

Emre Can started as captain for the Reds despite Jordan Henderson recovering.

The England international started on the bench for the Premier League giants.

Can’s display did not exactly go down well – but neither did his teammates to be fair.

We took a look at how Reds fans reacted to Can’s display on Twitter after the defeat.

The debate rages on, who is better Emre Can or Jordan Henderson?

Should Can be starting considering he has under six-months on his contract and will leave unless he signs a new deal?

Can has not ruled out staying but if things stay as they are the midfielder of Turkish origin will leave as a free agent at the end of the season.

Brilliant! genius!

Can was named captain again! should he have received the armband following his display against Swansea?

Let’s just say most Liverpool fans on Twitter were not best impressed with the 24-year-old’s display against the Baggies.

Very imaginative.
