Manchester City beat Cardiff City 2-0 at the Millenium Stadium in the FA Cup Fourth-Round clash on Sunday.
City remain on course for the domestic treble after reaching the League Cup final last week.
The Citizens are also top of the Premier League table and are through to the FA Cup Fifth-Round.
Ilkay Gundogan started for the Citizens and put on an impressive display for the Manchester based outfit.
We took a look at how City fans reacted to the midfielder of Turkish origin on Twitter.

A sold win despite the officials best efforts. KDB superb, Gundogan & Bernardo both positive, Vinny a welcome return. Those match officials? “Shakes head.” Mason & that crew shouldn’t be officiating kids football. Wholly incompetent #mcfc

It’s testament to how good Man City are that someone as good as Gundogan gets such little praise

City excellent, another level to any team in the country and it’s not even remotely close. KDB elite. Bernardo, Gundogan fantastic. Great seeing VK sharp. #MCFC

Also Gundogan is well under-rated. Top player

Did this really happen?
“Let him die” sing the Cardiff fans as Gundogan receives treatment on his ankle. I’m not sure it’s that serious lads.

There were more than a few complaints about how physical the opponents were, especially considering Gundogan’s injury record.
Gundogan – Handle with care

That’s Gundogan, Sane, Fernandinho De Bruyne Aguero all flattened by dangerous painful challenges I may have forgotten at least two others

Remember the shirt incident?
Hold off the shirt printing

And here is a bizarre conspiracy theory!
gundogan’s leg would be in bits if he wasn’t pumped full of steroids from guardiolas drug doctors, city players are invincible, you cut kdb’s legs off and he’d grow new ones
