Turkey internatinal star Cenk Tosun has found himself relegated to the bench for Everton’s last two games.

Tosun joined the Toffees on a £27 million move from Besiktas over the winter transfer window but has made just two starts.

The 26-year-old was dropped in favour of Oumar Niasse against Leicester City and most recently ahead of the 5-1 defeat to Arsenal.

Rumours have started to circulate in Turkey that Allardyce and Tosun are not on the best of terms.

Tosun has however, dismissed speculation that there is a problem betwen himself and the coach.

The former Besiktas striker actually praised Big Sam and how he has managed his settling in process.

“It’s not easy to adjust to a new environment, a new atmosphere, new friends even a new house,” he is quoted by Turkish outlet Haberturk.

“Even though I was born in Europe this situation is different.”

“I moved from Turkish league which the league I’m playing for years to the toughest league in the world. It’s hard to adapt. Sam told me that too.

“He always talks to me. I’ve zero problems. He told me that when I fit into the league and team, I’ll be a regular starter.”

It remains to be seen whether Allardyce will decide to put his faith back in Tosun heading into the Crystal Palace clash at Goodison Park on Saturday.

Niasse has failed to take a single shot on target in the two games he has started.

Tosun has yet to score or provide an assist yet but the Senegal international has been at the club since January 2016.

Niasse has seven goals and three assists in all competitions for the Merseyside based outfit this season.
