Manchester City defender Jason Denayer, on loan at Galatasaray, will be out of action for at least two months after picking up a hamstring injury during the 2-1 defeat to Sivasspor over the weekend.
A source close to Galatasaray revealed to Turkish-Football that Denayer tore his hamstring and is expected to miss the next 6-8 weeks.
The injury comes just as Denayer established himself as a first-team regular in Fatih Terim’s Galatasaray side.
The 22-year-old has never actually played a first-team game for City despite joining the club in 2013.

Denayer has is enjoying his second loan stint at Galatasaray, first joining the club in 2015.
The defender has also played for Sunderland and Celtic on temporary moves.
The powerful centre-back has started 12 of the Lions last 13 league games, the only match he missed was against Alanyaspor due to injury.
Galatasaray are currently second in the Super Lig, just two points behind leaders Basaksehir.
