Liverpool star Emre Can knows all about Bayern Munich as a former player for the German giants.
Bayern will take on Besiktas in the Champions League Last 16 on 20 February, Can has warned the reigning Bundesliga title holders not to underestimate the Turkish giants.
The midfielder was reported by beIN Turkey as saying: “Of course it will be a tough game for Besiktas but Bayern should not underestimate them either.
“Besiktas are a really strong side and will make it an interesting match.”
Can also revealed that he follows the Super Lig closely but that he has not received an offer from Turkey.
“I have not received an offer from Turkey,” he added.
“But I do follow the Super Lig closely, I have family and lots of friends in Turkey.
“My family are Turkish so naturally I have always followed the league and it has become really exciting.
“Also Koray Gunter is one of my best friends and he plays for Galatasaray so I can’t miss his games.”

Can went onto say that he has close ties to Turkey and regularly visits his parents country.
“I feel really close to Turkey,” he said.
“Turkish culture has had a big impact on my life, I mean look at me, it is obvious where I get my looks from.
“I like to visit my family and friends in Turkey as often as possible.”
Can is a member of the Turkish community in Germany, the largest non-German ethnic group in the country.
The 24-year-old also opened up about his transition from Bayer Leverkusen to Liverpool.
The Germany international admitted he is ‘proud’ to play for the Reds.
“It was not easy making the move but I settled in after a few months,” he added.
“I am proud to play for a big club like Liverpool and feel I have developed my game since making the transfer.”
Can has just a few months remaining on his current Liverpool contract.
The midfielder will be a free agent this summer unless he signs an extension deal.
