There appears to be further confusion regarding the injury situation of Tottenham striker Vincent Janssen.
The Netherlands international is currently on a season-long loan with Turkish Super Lig giants Fenerbahce.
Fenerbahce medical staff don’t appear to be happy with assurances from Tottenham that Janssen will be fully fit in April.
Yesterday we reported that Tottenham’s medical staff revealed that the star striker could return in under six weeks. Janssen has already spent the last two months on the sidelines with a toe injury.
However, according to the Turkish outlet Aksam, Fenerbahce are worried about a repeat of the ‘Robin Van Persie situation.’
Furthermore, due to Janssen’s injury record, the Istanbul giants are not interested in signing Janssen on a permanent bases or on loan for another season.

Janssen has managed just 13 appearances for Fenerbahce since his loan move and has three goals to his name in all competitions.
The 23-year-old made the move to Tottenham for £17 million from AZ Alkmaar back in 2016.
Tottenham are back in action this weekend when they face their biter rivals Arsenal in the north London derby.
