Everton fans have called upon manager Sam Allardyce to give Cenk Tosun a run in the first-team.

The Turkey international striker joined the Toffees for a lofty £26 million over the January transfer window from Super Lig champions Besiktas.

However, Tosun did not to hit the ground running following his move after failing to register a goal in his first two games.

The 26-year-old subsequently found himself benched in place of Oumar Niasse.

However, during a recent interview Tosun stated that he has absolutely no intention of throwing in the towel and isn’t considering a move back to Turkey in the summer.

Furthermore, the star striker pledged to show everyone ‘who is Cenk Tosun.’ 

Following the interview, Everton fans quickly took to social media to heap praise on their January signing with many fans questioning why manager Sam Allardyce was not giving him an extended run in the starting eleven.

Tosun could feature for Everton this weekend when they take on Crystal Palace in the Premier League this weekend.
