Tottenham Striker Will Miss Top Of The Table Clash Between Fenerbahce & Super Lig Leaders

Super Lig leaders Basaksehir welcome Fenerbahce to the Fatih Terim Stadium for the most highly anticipated game of the week.

Fenerbahce are currently fourth in the league table just five points behind unlikely leaders Basaksehir.

This used to be an inconsequential game between Istanbul giants Fenerbahce and a newly formed club with no fans, Basaksehir.

Today however, the new Istanbul derby it has the power to impact the title race.

Fenerbahce will have to make do without Vincent Janssen who is out injured.

The on loan Tottenham striker has a toe injury and is not expected back this month having already been ruled out of action since last year.

Janssen has now missed 11 games in all competitions due to injury.

The Yellow Canaries are also without Martin Skrtel and İsmail Köybaşı due to injury.

Hasan Ali Kaldırım and Roberto Soldado will pick up an automatic suspension should they pick up a booking against Basaksehir.

Aykut Kocaman will welcome back Giuliano from injury but he is not expected to start.

Basaksehir meanwhile, are without midfielder maestro – and former Fenerbahce star – Emre Belozoglu due to suspension.

The home side are undefeated in their last 31 home games.
