It was not all bad. Gundogan did actually receive some praise.
Ilkay Gundogan slowly getting to his best. Not been the same player since those devastating injuries but fully healed now and looks to be enjoying his game again.

Not everyone had kind words to say towards the 27-year-old.
Gundogan won’t go into tackles and he’s indecisive in the final 3rd.

We need a decent result.. I think we can win 3-0.. Hopefully we take our chances and not try and walk the ball into the net.
Gundogan needs to use that left foot more when the chance comes

What does gundogan actually add to our midfield?

You do wonder at times what some City fans so unacceptable. The Citizens are 16 points clear of Manchester United at the top of the table. Things can’t be that bad surely?
Yes Leicester had the audacity to score a goal but I’ve seen Zinchenko, Silva, Otamendi, Sergio (of course), Sterling and Gundogan slagged off. Yet we’ve been pretty good again
