The Europa League restarts on Thursday night this week and Arsenal will be flying the flag for the Premier League.
The Gunners comfortably topped their group despite manager Arsene Wenger resting his key names.
However, the French tactician is expected to switch his focus to the European cup competition following a inconsistent run in the Premier League.
The Europa League could be Arsenal’s easiest route to playing UEFA Champions League football next season.
“I will play the normal team because it’s one of the opportunities we have, especially because we don’t play in the [FA Cup] this season,” Wenger stated at the pre-game press conference.
“There’s no reason why I should rest players.”
However, £60 million January signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang will not play having already played for Dortmund in the Europa League.
Star playmaker Mesut Ozil is available for selection this week and is expected to start. The 29-year-old recently penned a new three-year deal with the north London based club.
Predicted Arsenal starting XI: Petr Cech, Hector Bellerin, Mustafi, Koscielny, Monreal, Xhaka, Elneny, Mkhitaryan, Jack Wilshere, Mesut Ozil, Alexandre Lacazette
