Manchester City’s impressive form in the Premier League appears to also be rubbing off on players on their books currently on loan.
Jason Denayer joined Galatasaray on a temporary move from City over the summer.
The Lions moved into first place in the Super Lig on Monday after beating Antalyaspor 3-0 at the Turk Telekom Arena.
Denayer has been the first-choice centre-back for the Istanbul giants this season but was unavailable against Antalyaspor due to injury.
The Belgium international is expected to be sidelined for the next 6-8 weeks with a hamstring tear.
Denayer will undergo further tests to determine the best course of rehabilitation.
The defender backed his team from the sidelines with an Instagram stories post showing a photograph of Galatasaray celebrating alongside a lion emoji.
