Mesut Özil started against Everton despite having a disappointing game in the 3-1 loss against Monaco in the Champions League Last 16 first-leg.

Özil setup Olivier Giroud with the opening goal from the corner spot and provided the pass that led to Tomas Rosicky’s goal in the last minutes.
The World Cup winner made 47 passes at a 92 percent accuracy and completed five key passes over the duration of the game. Özil was given an 8.00 rating by Whoscored.
The 26-year-old now has two goals and five assists in the Gunners last five league games.
