Stoke City January signing Badou Ndiaye has revealed how he ended up making the move to the Premier League club.
The Senegal international made the move to Stoke from Turkish Super Lig giants Galatasaray for £16 million last month.
The transfer came as a shock to the Lions fans seeing that they signed Ndiaye from Osmanlispor just six months earlier for £6.5 million.
Ndiaye has stated that he experienced were major financial issues during his stay at Galatasaray. Without going into too much detail, the box-to-box midfielder believes his sale will help the Istanbul Giants financial standing.

“I had lots of trouble financially during my stay at Galatasaray. The fans didn’t know that,“ Ndiaye told the daily Turkish newspaper Aksam.
“I think my sale was a good deal for the club and myself. I hope both Galatasaray and Stoke City have good seasons. Galatasaray will stay a part of my life forever.”
Ndiaye was in impressive form for Stoke City on his debut at the start of this month despite their 2-1 defeat to Bournemouth. The 27-year-old provided the assist for his sides only goal.
Stoke City are back in action this weekend when they take on Leicester City in the Premier League.
