£17m Tottenham star striker’s return date unknown after suffering toe injury – says players agent

Tottenham star striker Vincent Janssen’s agent Louis Laros has spoken about his client’s ongoing injury woes.

The Netherlands international is currently on a season-long loan at Turkish Super Lig giants Fenerbahce.

However, Janssen has been sidelined for the past two months and may be ruled out for the remainder of the season.

The Tottenham striker’s agent Laros has revealed to the Turkish daily newspaper Milliyet that he is unsure when Janssen will return but hopes that the former AZ Alkmaar man will be back in action before the season ends.

Laros also stated that Janssen wants to make sure he has fully overcome his toe injury before making a comeback.

Per the source, Tottenham are keeping tabs on the situation and are in constant contact with the Fenerbahce medical team.

Fenerbahce are unlikely to pursue a permanent deal for the 23-year-old when his loan expires in the summer due to his injury woes.

Janssen made the move to Tottenham from AZ Alkmaar for £17 million back in 2016.
