Besiktas take on Bayern Munich in the Champions League Last 16 tonight in the first-leg clash at the Allianz Arena.

The Black Eagles booked a place in the second-round of the competition after finishing Group G as unbeaten leaders.

Oguzhan Ozyaup played an important role in Besiktas’ success over the group stage and is likely to play against Bayern.

A source close to Besiktas revealed to Turkish-Football that several scouts are expected at the game to keep tabs on three players in particular, Ozyakup, Anderson Talisca and Tolgay Arslan.

Arsenal are among the clubs who will scout Ozyakup.

The Gunners have been interested in the 25-year-old for the past two seasons.

Ozyakup is no stranger to Arsenal having first made a name for himself at the North London based outfit.

The Turkey international won the 2009 Youth FA Cup alongside Jack Wilshere at Arsenal before joining Besiktas five-years ago.

The midfielder has lifted the league title for the past two seasons and could end up winning the championship against this term.

Ozyakup does however, have just a few months remaining on his contract but has yet to sign an extension.

The Netherlands born star could end up leaving Besiktas as a free agent this summer unless he signs a new deal.
