Liverpool beat West Ham 4-1 at Anfield Stadium in the Premier League on Saturday to temporarily move into second-place – Manchester United overtook the Reds after beating Chelsea 2-1 on Sunday.
Reds midfielder Emre Can started after returning from suspension after missing the Porto clash last week.
The midfielder of Turkish origin put on a stellar display scoring and providing an assist for the home side.
Can has just a few months remaining on his contract and has been linked with a summer exit.
Liverpool fans asked the question why the 24-year-old is not considering staying on, after all the team are playing some pretty exquisite football of late.

Will Can end up staying on? he has just a few months remaining on his contract but has yet to reveal what he will do next season.
Emre Can was willing to risk messing his hair for the opener, but LFC aren’t able to agree a deal with him. Does not commute.

Woah!
How about
Pogba goals: 3
Emre Can goals: 5— Dan Jackson (@DI_Goggles) February 24, 2018
Well what do you make of that.
Via @DaveHendrick_
Paul Pogba has 3 goals this season.
Emre Can has 6.
Emre also does all the defensive work that is apparently too much to expect from Pogba.
Emre has also played half his games as a holding midfielder, and one as a CB.

Thoughts on this? Would losing Can for free be worse than losing Coutinho?
Tell you what. We gonna miss Emre Can loads next season.
Losing Can for free is worse than losing Coutinho for £142m

He can do no wrong!
Emre Can openly admits West Ham’s goal was his own fault. Plaudits for taking responsibility.
