Tottenham Flop Linked With Move To Dutch Giants Feyenoord

Tottenham flop Vincent Janssen joined Fenerbahce on loan to help kick start his career after a disappointing debut season in the Premier League.

Janssen has scored just three times – and has four assists – in Turkey and has been out injured since December.

The Netherlands international is not expected back until April and there are no guarantees he will play again this season.

Fenerbahce have cooled interest in trying to sign the striker on a permanent deal at the end of the season.

Reports in Turkey – quoting reports from the Netherlands – claim that Janssen may be offered a way out by Feyenoord.

Dutch coach and television presenter Hans Kraay believes Janssen could be an option for Feyenoord.

The Star newspaper quoted Kray as saying: “Vincent Janssen could be a great option for Feyenoord, they missed out on him when he was a youth. If Jorgensen leaves he could end up being a good replacement.”

Janssen is contracted to Tottenham until 2020 but it remains to be seen whether Spurs still have plans for the striker.

Fenerbahce are currently fourth in the Super Lig, three points behind league leaders – and rivals – Galatasaray.
