Galatasaray came from behind to beat Akhisar 2-1 in the Turkish Cup semi-final first leg clash at the Akhisar stadium.
Seleznyov opened the scoring on 19 minutes but Ahmet Calik equalised just two minutes later.
Sinan Gumus ended up netting a last-gasp winner the Lions to give them an advantage heading into the second leg.
Manchester City loanee Jason Denayer was ruled out of the clash due to his hamstring injury.
The Belgium international has however, returned to light training with the help of phsios.
Denayer could be back in action in time for the Lions return-leg clash at the Turk Telekom Arena on 17 March.
The 23-year-old is very likely to be match fit by the time of the final if the Istanbul giants make it that far.
Jason will lift his second Turkish Cup trophy if the Lions go onto lift the title – he wont he 2015-16 trophy during his last stint on loan at the club.
