Guardiola has several injury worries coming into tonight’s clash. Raheem Sterling is a major doubt with a hamstring injury which kept him out of the Carabao Cup final.
While key midfielder Fernandinho suffered an injury during the weekend and final will miss Thursday evening’s game. Benjamin Mendy is also sidelined with a long-term knee injury.
In positive news for the experienced manager, Fabian Delph is back from suspension.
Ilkay Gundogan, who played a starring role during the cup final is once again available for selection.
