Arsenal will be desperate to bounce back from their disappointing Carabao Cup final defeat at the hands of Manchester City.

The Gunners failed to turn up on Sunday with both players and manager coming under intense pressure following the result.

Arsene Wenger will be hoping there will be no repeat of the weekend result when his side hosts Manchester City at the Etihad Stadium on Thursday evening.

The French tactician will be without Nacho Monreal who suffered a back injury during the cup final. Bosnia international  Sead Kolasinac is likely to start in the Spaniard’s place.

Meanwhile, Alexandre Lacazaette is also ruled out with a knee injury. Star playmaker Mesut Ozil is available for selection this week.

Manager Arsene Wenger has a decision to make this week whether to stick with three-man defence which started on Sunday or reverts to a back four which has proved successful in recent weeks.
