Arsenal legend Ian Wright has issued a warning to his former club regarding the future of their star playmaker Mesut Ozil.
Wright believes Arsenal must strengthen the squad over the summer transfer window to keep the likes of Ozil happy at the north London based club.
Ozil came close to a move away from Arsenal following a contract dispute last year. However, the 29-year-old penned a three-year contract making him the highest paid player in the Gunners history.
Meanwhile, Ozil’s former team-mate Alexis Sanchez made the move up north to Manchester United in January.
Wright told BBC Radio 5 Live that Arsenal will need further reinforcement in the summer to keep Ozil onside.

“He has Mkhitaryan and Aubameyang,” Wright told BBC Radio 5 Live.
“If he has been given assurances it is going to happen [new quality signings], it needs to happen quickly.”
Arsenal are back in action tonight when they take on Manchester City for the second time in the space of a week. Arsene Wenger’s side suffered a 3-0 defeat at the hands of the Citizens on Sunday in the Carabao Cup final.
