Didier Drogba is a Chelsea legend but also enjoys cult status among Galatasaray fans.

The Ivorian spent a season and a half in Turkey, winning the league title, Turkish Cup and helping the Lions reach the Champions League quarter-finals.

Drogba rolled back the clock and reminded his Instagram followers of one of his finest headers wearing the Galatasaray shirt.

The 38-year-old tagged in several former teammates including current Galatasaray manager Fatih Terim in his ‘flashback friday’ post.

There has been talk among Galatasaray circles of Drogba being offered a coaching role at the club.

Recently elected club president Mustafa Cengiz actually made an election pledge to bring Drogba back and give him an important role – but that may have to wait until the end of the season.
