Manchester City moved 16 points clear of Manchester United at the top of the Premier League table on Thursday after beating Arsenal 3-0 at the Emirates Stadium.
The Citizens beat the Gunners by the same scoreline for the second time inside a week.
Ilkay Gundogan won his first piece of silverware with City on Sunday in the Carabao Cup final and started again yesterday.
City fans appeared pleased with the midfieler of Turkish origin on social media following the victory.
Some decided to use the opportunity to compare him with Manchester United star Paul Pogba – not for the first time this season.

Not everyone agreed with Gundogan being miles better than Mr Pogba.

He’s not perfect but generally plays well in a bad tactical setup and not in his best position. Gundogan did it for one game and he’s apparently better than Pogba at it.
