Juventus CEO Beppe Marotta has admitted that the Turin based club could miss out on signing Liverpool star Emre Can.
The 24-year-old has been linked with an Anfield exit after failing to put pen-to-paper on a new contract. Can has under three-months left on his contract and could end up leaving the club for free this summer.
Liverpool have been in talks with Can over a contract extension however, it’s understood talks have stalled due to a disagreement over the inclusion of a buyout clause.

The likes of Bayern Munich and Real Madrid have also been linked with a move for Emre Can in recent weeks.
Marotta believes the race to sign Can is intensifying and is considering his options in case the 24-year-old opts to remain at Liverpool or moves elsewhere.
“He’s one of the most appetising players both for his value and also because, as you all know, he’s a free transfer in June,” Marotta told Sky Sport Italia.
“It’s normal that there are clubs lining up to sign him.
“We are following and we have followed our path and we know there are rival clubs who certainly belong to the best in the world, but the fact is it will be the player who decides his destiny.
“So if he decides to come to Turin and play for Juventus, we will be happy. If he decides to join another club, then obviously we will seize another opportunity.”
Can could be back in action this weekend when Liverpool host Newcastle United at Anfield on Saturday.
