Mark Lawrenson Reveals Burnley vs Everton Score Prediction, Believes Big Sam Can ‘Stop The Rot’

Everton take on Burnley at Turf Moor stadium in the Premier League on Saturday having won just one of their last 14 league games.

The Toffees will be hoping to turn around their form on the road and have the chance to join 7th placed Burnley on 37 points with a victory.

Burnley meanwhile are not exactly in brillian form either, without a win in their last 11 league games.

BBC football pundit Mark Lawrenson has revealed his prediction for the game.

Lawro beleives the visitors will ‘stop the rot’ but does not think they will win.

A 1-1 draw has been predicted, which would put an end to a five game losing streak on the road for the Toffees.

Lawro said: “So they will be stronger, but I just have a feeling that after five successive away defeats, Allardyce will set his stall out to get a point, to stop the rot and try to stop some of his critics from moaning.”

Lawrenson did underlined that Everton will have to improve in front of goal after managing just two shots on target against Watford in their last game.

Allardyce has decided to change up his attack, dropping Oumar Niasse and Wayne Rooney, bringing in Turkey international Cenk Tosun and also rising star Dominic Calvert-Lewin.

“The Toffees only had two efforts on target in their defeat at Watford on Saturday – and one of those was a deflected cross,” he added.
