Arsenal star Mesut Ozil appears to have switched his focus toward the upcoming World Cup in Russia this summer.
The 29-year-old is usually everpresent on social media but has been absent following the Gunners 2-1 defeat at the hands of Brighton on Sunday.
Ozil looked furious following the defeat and threw his gloves off in a rage following the Seagul’s second goal.
Rather than comment on the Gunners disappointing result or their upcoming crucial encounter against AC Milan, Ozil has opted to celebrate the fact that there is 100 days left until the World Cup kicks off.
The former Real Madrid man included the following caption, “Only 100 days left until our mission in Russia starts!”
