Arsenal ended a four-game losing streak after beating AC Milan 2-0 at the San Siro Stadium on Thursday in the Europa League Last 16 first-leg tie.
Mesut Ozil put on a stellar display, playing a key role in Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s opening goal and setting up Aaron Ramsey with the second.
The playmaker of Turkish origin has now directly been involved in 100 goals for Arsenal since joining from Real Madrid in 2013.
Arsenal fans were so impressed with his performance that they chanted his name and sung songs about him from the stands.
The away supporters sang ‘We’ve got Ozil’ which could be heard large and clear despite being a minority in the terraces.
