Cenk Tosun has now scored in his last two games after finding the back of the net in the 2-0 win against Brighton.
Tosun netted the opening goal against Burnley last weekend but Everton lost the game.
The Turkey international’s goal ended up securing all three points for the Merseyside based side this time around.
Tosun has started to show why Everton invested heavily in him over the winter transfer window, bringing him in from Besiktas.
The 26-year-old put on a man of the match display and now has two goals in his last three shots on target.

Tosun also created two goalscoring chances over the course of the 90 minutes.
We took a look at how Everton fans on social media reacted to Tosun’s display against Brighton.
In case you missed the goal here it is in all its glory.

Tosun was widely praised as I am sure you can imagine.
He worked his arse off today and we all appreciated it. That’s all we ask for along with 20 odd goals a season.

We love Cenk already ???

Great work rate, great attitude, great hold up play, great link up play and a great strike to see the game off. MOM for me

Think Cenk Tosun is going to be a great, Everton centre forward. Real traditional Blues No 9.
Doesn’t stop running and works hard for the team. Some really nice touches too and a great finish. #EFC

Cenk Tosun’s first touch and control?

Couple of other things from today…
1) I’ve got a good feeling about Cenk Tosun. Movement v good. Works hard. Competes well. Decent touch. Clinical with his chance.
2) If Seamus Coleman isn’t our captain next season, something is wrong. He’s the only real leader we have

FULL TIME! Everton rather easily past Brighton, 2-0. A Gaetan Bong own goal and a Cenk Tosun howitzer earned the two points.

Off to bed to dream of @CenkTosun_ smashing them in off the bar! Phwoar

Cenk Tosun smashing a big slice of humble pie onto the fat ones face. Well in lad.

This made us chuckle.
Cenk Tosun’s second goal in two games. Following Everton’s patented formula of how to bring out best in an elite Striker: Treat them like Crap until they become riddled with self-doubt, fear and paranoia, then let them Loose, Oumar Niasse-Style ??????

Drops Mic!
Cenk Tosun had one chance on goal. Cenk Tosun scored his one chance on goal.

I sense a brotherhood forming between Everton and Besiktas.
I love Cenk Tosun and I love Besiktas for giving us Cenk Tosun
— Brad (@bradyates_) March 10, 2018
Will this catch on?
To the tune of Crocodile Rock
We got the lad from turkey
He came here on a plane
He got into a taxi
To come down Walton Lane
We got him from Besiktas
He’s always scoring goals
His name is Cenk Tosun
And he plays for Everton
