Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho reportedly wants to get rid of six players over the summer.

That is of course according to the Manchester Evening News who listed Michael Carrick, Matteo Darmian, Andreas Pereira, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marouane Fellaini as being candidates for the end of season exodus.

Per the source, Mourinho has already informed executive vice-chairman Ed Woodward regarding his plans and who he hopes to replace the players with.

It turns out that Valencia are prepared to give Mourinho a helping hand and take two of the six off his hands, in Darmian and Fellaini according to Mundo Deportivo.

Per the source, Los Che also want Ander Herrera who does not appear to be on the exodus list.

Valencia have been in impressive form this season, a top-four finish is looking increasingly likely and the La Liga outfit want to strengthen the team ahead of a potential Champions League campaign.

The latest development will not sit well with Galatasaray who have made Fellaini a transfer priority as reported by Turkish-Football.

Galatasaray did make Fellaini an offer over the summer but Mourinho publically ruled out any chance of the Belgium international leaving over the summer.

“It’s easier for Galatasaray to get me than to get Maroaune,” Mourinho said.

“Forget it. He’s too important to me.”

The Istanbul giants have been keeping close tabs on Fellaini and holding talks with his representatives throughout the season.
