Manchester City star Ilkay Gundogan featured in the 1-1 draw between Germany and Spain played in Dusseldorf.
Gundogan was one of two players of Turkish origin that featured against Spain alongside Arsenal ace Mesut Ozil.
The midfielder came on for Sami Khedira on 53 minutes.
The midfielder of Turkish origin gave his post-match reaction on Twitter alongside a photograph from the game.
Gundogan revealed that it was an ‘intense match’ and called Spain a ‘great opponent’.
The 27-year-old also underlined that despite being a friendly games against Spain never seem so.
